As a web designer I understand your primary concern is whether or not you can trust me to ...

  1. Do what I say I'm going to do
  2. NOT screw up the hard work you've already accomplished
  3. Be reachable when you need me
  4. NOT steal your clients away from you

I have some articles on my site that address the top three issues. Let's talk about the fourth item.

I have no motivation to steal your clients. I don't want/need my name or link on your clients' site or design. I am a silent partner.

I will not make contact with your client in any way for any reason other than one. If you don't follow through with your contract and pay me as agreed, I will give you 4 months to comply and then I will contact the site owner and make them aware of the situation. Rest assured I am not vindictive, but I have to have a recourse for receiving payment for my time and services.

Your clients' information is guarded closely. I will never give out any usernames, passwords or even site names unless required by law in any legal proceedings. That means I won't put site details in any support forum, etc. I keep a file for YOU, and within that file I have site names and pertinent information in case I have to do work with you again on that project.

I will not market to your clients in any way. I will not add them to a database or (e)mailing list, and I will never spam them or you.

The bottom line is that (1) I have no motivation for stealing from you in any regard and (2) I build my business on integrity and a high moral code. My reputation is far more valuable to me than any money I could make. That's just what I believe, and it's how I conduct my business.

I have a very detailed Terms page that is full of legalese in case you're interested. The above document puts it all in a nutshell for the average layperson. If you have any further questions, you may contact me at 931-257-3036.
